Its a late 58 bus from Aug or Nov. Been sitting in a storage container in northern Cali for 20-30 years! Bought it from the wife of the late VW guru, Al.

Repairs to a 1967 hood

Tonight I helped Jason out and weld repaired the hood for his 67. It was cracked on both the right and the left side.

Last nights meeting over at the Grandys on N 1st

We had a very productive meeting. We had a guest speaker from the Mustang Car Club and we discussed upcoming car shows and the planning for our very own Abilene air-cooled car show next year.  We also had a new member show up with his “new to him” bay window. Welcome to the club Justin... Don't forget we have a cruise to the Town & Country drive-in coming up this Friday to watch Iron Man II... Meet at Kmart parking lot at around 7:45PM and cruise up at 8:00PM.

Bring chairs and a portable radio (so we don't kill the VW's) See you all there.
